The Muestra Cine Independiente-Pendiente (Independent Film Space) was created in 2019 to screen, promote, and debate the audiovisual production of filmmakers whose aesthetic proposals and production strategies explore alternative visions of Cuban reality.

This space for independent cinematography began its 2020 cycle and was interrupted by the pandemic.
