Ray Veiro
(Seibabo, Cuba, 1998)

Ray Veiro is a writer. He obtained the Can Serrat Artistic Residency, Barcelona (2021). He was a finalist in short story for the Casa Seoane Creation Scholarship (2019; first mention in the narrative contest La Gaveta 2019; and finalist for the 1st Editorial Hypermedia Poetry Prize (2019).

His poetry, narratives, and journalism are found in magazines and digital portals from several countries. He is interested in knowing who killed Ana Mendieta, and how kenosis occurs. He lives and writes traveling between the neighborhoods of Havana and the center of the country. He hopes not to die in Cuba.
