    Olivia Sofía Manrufo Hernández
    (Havana Cuba, 1985)

    Olivia Sofía Manrufo Hernández studied at the Alejo Carpentier Ballet Elementary School and the National School of Art, where she graduated with a specialty in theater with the play La Loca de Chaillot, directed by playwright Carlos Díaz. She has worked in advertising, film, and television. She won best actress award for the film Tres Veces Dos (Caricato) from the UNEAC, and the special acting award at the Third Exhibition of Young Filmmakers organized by ICAIC. From 2009 to 2012, she starred in the television series Vivir del Cuento.

    Jarafas, her last film in Cuba, directed by Kiki Álvarez, premiered in 2013 at the Rotterdam International Film Festival. Since 2012, she has lived in Lima, Peru, where she has trained under Roberto Ángeles, and works as an instructor at the Terpsicore Dance School. She participated in the play Claustrofobia, directed by Adolfo Aguilar. She wrote and starred in the play¿Tanto te puede trastornar la vida un botón? (Lima Microtheater).

    She acted in the Peruvian film Wik, directed by Rodrigo Moreno and in the play Sobre la Tierra, directed by Vanessa Vizcarra, at the De Lucía Theater. She was an actor’s trainer for the Peruvian film Todos Somos Marineros, directed by Miguel Angel Moulet, which won the Critics’ Award at the Toulouse Festival. She participated as a dancer in the play Flora Tristán, directed by Roberto Ángeles and choreographed by Lucía Meléndez. She is currently filming the Peruvian film Ronnie Monroy loves all of them, directed by Josúe Méndez.
