    Kirenia Yalit Nuñez Perez

    Kirenia Yalit Núñez Pérez graduated in Psychology at the Universidad de La Habana and was a researcher from 2003 to 2009. In 2012, she began working at the Cuban Commission for Human Rights and National Reconciliation (CCDHRN) occupying the position of Head of Information. Since 2014 she has been in charge of the General Coordination of the Cuban Youth Dialogue Table (MDJC).

    She participated in internships in women’s leadership at the Simone de Beauvoir Leadership Institute in Mexico in 2017; the Regional Leadership Academy, Generation Democracy, in Panama in 2018; Inter-American Course on Elections and Democracy: “Advances and setbacks of democracy in Latin America” at IIDD/CAPEL in 2020.

    She participated on four occasions in civil society activities around the General Assembly of the Organization of American States (OAS) and twice at the Summit of the Americas. She manages the youth campaigns Poder Joven Cuba and Exprésate.
