Yani Monzón
Yani Monzón was born in Santa Clara but her heart’s in Havana. She studied Library Studies and Psychology, and she’s done a little of everything: she’s worked at Recreatur and the Hermanos Saíz Association, and at the EICTV in San Antonio de los Baños, on the short film Oslo, directed by Luis Ernesto Doñas. She won the El Caballo de Coral awarded by the Centro Onelio, for her unpublished book La culpa la tiene Marilyn Monroe. Together with Enrique Rodriguez she was part of Esquife.
