Roque Argilagos
Roque Argilagos grew up in the cultural environment of Vedado. The son of a film director and a sociologist, he was a long-time student of Leopoldina Nuñez, who taught Gema and Pavel, Pablo Milanés, Victor Navarrete and many troubadours. Since 2003 he has lived in Costa Rica making music for educational documentaries, more recently with influences from African and Afro-American cultures, trovas, sones and rumbas. Poems with educational messages and of faith and light for all.
