    Jorge Ferrera

    Jorge Ferrera is an actor, professor, and theater director. In 1992 he founded the group Teatro El Puente. He has lived in Spain for 20 years and during this time he has been combining creation and theater pedagogy. He has taught courses at the Higher Institute of Art in Havana and at the Universidad del Valle in Colombia. He has directed many plays with Teatro El Puente, but has also developed solo shows. His latest premiere was: “Peer Gynt,” based on the work of the Norwegian playwright H. Ibsen. His works have been staged in Spain, France, Switzerland, USA, Colombia, Cuba, Venezuela, Argentina and Uruguay. He is currently working on two projects: TEACUENTROS (a radio-theater space for children) and the creation of his own online school.
