    Elier Álvarez Arcia, “El Brujo”

    Elier Álvarez Arcia is a rapper, poet, and cultural promoter. Hip hop is his lifestyle. As a poet he is self-taught, and as a cultural promoter he worked at La Madriguera in Havana. He is involved in Poesía Hablada, Spoken Word, Hip Hop and Hip Hop Cubano. He is the founder and director of Caminos de Palabras, and a promoter of Poesía Hablada" and Activo Hip Hop Cubano, a Cuban hip hop production and promotion platform.

    He represented Cuba in the Slam International in Rio de Janeiro, as part of the FLUPP festival in 2016. WIth Poesía Hablada, la Spoken Word, la Décima y El Repentismo he has collaborated with great artists such as Luz de Cuba, Afibola Sifunola, Karel “El Indomable”, Rogers Arencibia, Ediel González, Carlos Alberto Tejeiro “El Fígaro”, Alexis Díaz Pimienta, Roly Ávalos, Axel Díaz, Alex Díaz, Sindy Manuel, Ariel Maceo, Glenda Bonne, Paul Flores, Mayda del Valle, Bobby Lefebre, Aja Monet, Sarah Camille, Youness Merneci, and many other Cuban and foreign poets.
