Eilyn Lombard
Eilyn Lombard was editorial director at Reina del Mar Editores in,Cienfuegos, and poetry editor at Letras Cubanas. She is the mother of Alejandra and Reina Lucía, and author of the poetry collections Suelen ser frágiles las muchachas sobre el puente (Reina del Mar Editores, 2005), Todas las diosas fatigadas (Ediciones La Luz, 2011), and Las tierras rojas (Ediciones Mecenas, 2019). Her poems are also in anthologies such as Caminos poéticos. Voces nuevas de Cuba y de Haití, La calle de Rimbaud and magazines such as Yzur, Conexos, and Papeles de la Mancuspia. Colabora con el roommate: colectivo de autores con reseñas de libros. Her studies and essays have been published in La Gaceta de Cuba, Inti, LLJournal. She is currently a doctoral student in the Department of Literature, Culture and Language program at the University of Connecticut, where she teaches Spanish, Writing, Business Spanish, and Spanish for Engineers.
