Joaquín Badajoz talks about his participation in Vitral magazine in the Archdiocese of Pinar del Río, and other spaces in his native province at the western extreme of the island, and analyzes civic projects during the 1990s in Cuba.
Bio:
Joaquín Badajoz is a corresponding member of the Academia Norteamericana de la Lengua Española (ANLE), the American Comparative Literature Association (ACLA) and of the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese (AATSP). He has been editor in chief of the magazines Men 's Health and Prevention, executive editor of Cosmopolitan en Español, cover editor of Yahoo! en Español, and digital director of La Opinión de Los Ángeles and El Diario Nueva York, as well as copy editor of Hola! USA and editorial subdirector of the New York weekly The Tablet and of Nuestra Voz. He has published the books of poetry Passar Paxaros (Hypermedia Americas, 2014), TNT (Colección Diáspora Latina, Editorial La Chifurnia, 2016), and Cántaro (Hypermedia Américas, 2021).
