    The story Demóngeles, of the organization of the Marcha por la No Violencia in 2009 and the repression unleashed against a group of young Cubans, told by Dener from his exile in Norway.

    Luis Dener Hernández González

    Luis Dener Hernández González holds a degree in pedagogy and is a narrator, poet and rapper. The 2003 founder of the phenomenon Los Aldeanos, and of the movement that coalesced around the group. Founder and creator of the group Demóngeles, he worked for seven years as a primary school teacher. With Demóngeles, he organized neighborhood children's festivals, the poetry festival Poesía en Campaña, ecological actions, art expositions, performances and poetry workshops for children. He is the founder of Pluriestética, the Movimiento Renacer, and the Movimiento Amistad, in which groups and projects like Contexto, Cabeza de Piñón, Matraka, Omni Zona Franca, Los Aldeanos and others participated. The winner of the award for best intro at the Puños Arriba festival in 2008 for his participation on the album El Atropello, by Los Aldeanos. He was one of the organizers of the Marcha por la No Violencia on November 6, 2009. Due to his artistic and political activism, in January 2010 he was expelled from the country by State Security to Trinidad and Tobago. A year later he returned to Cuba and into “inxile” in his house. He started the children's music project Atrapasueños which he continued to work with until meeting his future wife, who is Norwegian, and he currently lives in Norway. He has published a book of poetry with Editorial Guantanamera, is the creator of the initiative 50%+1, and is a quasi-influencer and the international coordinator of the group Demóngeles.
