He is a journalist and editor. He graduated in Journalism from the University of Havana. He has a diploma in Theology from the University of San Esteban de Salamanca (Spain) and another in Humanism and Society from the Alberto Hurtado University (Chile). He has taken several journalism workshops inside and outside Cuba, and was a fellow of the Global Media Forum in 2019 (Germany).
He has worked as an editor in the digital media Diario de Cuba and Yucabyte. He is the editor-in-chief of the El Estornudo Magazine and held the same position at the Revista de la Universidad de México. He has collaborated in several independent Cuban and foreign media.
He currently heads the Institute's communications team, made up of a designer and a technical specialist.
