Conversation with Eddy Rodríguez de la Cruz, vice-president of Cubanos Libre in Uruguay and founding member of the International Coalition for Democracy. He talks about his beginnings in activism and his exile.

Bio:

Eddy Rodríguez de la Cruz started in political activism at a very young age, in an organization called Movimiento Democrático Cubano. In the 1990s he tried to leave Cuba on several occasions. Some time later, for alleged “ideological problems”, he was labeled a “counter revolutionary” and banished from Cuba.
